In January 2015, I set off on a journey through some of Australia's lesser-known, untouched places. I saw kangaroos and koalas up close, wandered through stunning landscapes, and met some genuinely kind and open-hearted people.
I had the chance to meet Anthony with his wife and his daughter when they invited me to their house in the outback, surrounded by stunning nature. The next day, as I walked outside the house and explored the vast, beautiful landscape, I got the idea to capture some pictures that truly reflected this incredible environment. His daughter was playing around, and that's when the story began to form — the perfect setting for a new storytelling project.
Back then, I was traveling light. I used a cheap, compact camera—something easy to carry, not meant for high-end results. The image quality wasn’t great, especially by today’s standards.
But that wasn’t the point. What mattered most was the intention behind the Story.

Along the way, I started cutting together a little film from the footage I captured. Nothing planned—just instinct and emotion. One day, I showed the clip to someone I had met on the road.
He was so moved by the story and the way it felt that he shared it with a couple who were getting married the following week. They reached out and asked me if I could film their wedding.
I said I would film it—with no big plan, just a feeling. Luckily, I had my drone with me, and the rest just unfolded naturally.
When I shared the final film with them, they were so grateful, speechless, and completely overwhelmed by how it captured their day.
This is now almost 10 Years ago.
"That moment changed everything. It reminded me why I create—and that sometimes, the best stories are the ones that find you."
THIS CAME OUT!
